Ohh What lovely couples. :)
Nicole:
They sure were!
at first, i want to thank you for all the good posts. i mean, there are so many blogs on the internet, but just a few are something to... to give my own time (my english isn't very clear. sorry). so THANK YOU. i just found your blog and when i have free time or when i'm in the mood, i read your old posts.
and all these couples... when i look at them i don't have just 'lovely' in mind. it's, i mean, it's really sad that so many of them divorced.
or maybe i'm too young to understand why people get married and then divorce.
ok, i should stop, i know ;)
have a good evening, dear.

Those kind words are really heart warming! Thank YOU! I always admirer people who can leave their print on pages/blogs they like and give their appreciation. That's grand.
I'm also glad that you like my blog so much that you read older posts! In the right column you have a link to "Labels", can be fun if you want to navigate among your favourite actors!
I sneaked a little peak at your presentation, you have quite a taste! F. Scott Fitzgerald lies close to my heart.
Well, I guess that you in former times married more often, when you fell in love with somebody. Today you marry after having been together for some years, "just to be certain of your feelings" before commitment.
But I don't know, just a theory :)
Be back soon! //Lolita
I like that Gregory Peck and Paul Newman were able to have long lasting marriages. It's said that so many Hollywood couples are short lived.
Robby Cress:
I think that those short lived Hollywood marriages are part myth, part that they could afford to get divorces all the time and part that they simply liked to get married. but yes, it's a happy thought that Newman and Peck lived so long in happy marriages!
Wow! I love these pictures. These are some wonderful couples. I enjoyed all the photos you posted.
