Dearest readers!
Do you remember the clip I made with top ten greatest (but they weren't the greatest) Hollywood kisses? Now that summer is coming - oh yes, after a while it comes to Sweden too - and I won't have much to do, except from studying Russian, I thought I should try to pick up were I left off.
I recently got a comment on the video on YouTube, asking me if I had more videos like that. I don't - yet. It could be a good way for me to practice on my video editing program.
Therefore I ask you, dear classic film experts - do you have any suggestions for film kisses I have yet to highlight and honor?
I also plan on not relying only on a wannabe British voice over this time, but show my pretty little face for you. Suggestions for improvement, or any kind of ideas, are dearly welcome!
You have such a cute voice Lolita :)
ReplyDeleteI actually love some of the ones you picked because they are not traditional. Not the type you see on everyone's list.
My personal favorite probably Cary Grant & Ingrid Bergman in Notorious where they give a quick kiss and then whisper and then another kiss getting around the time limit of the production code.
Loretta Young dracked Ricardo Cortez...the ol' vampire trick of blowing on the neck on that certain nerve..that paralyzes the victim..lol
ReplyDeleteI like that one and the Jean Harlow one and Ball of Fire..Gary ooper dooper..."what are ya gonna do?"=:o))
kissing is yucky...I'd rather pop pimples..wouldn't you?
I love your video! Very entertaining! One of my favorite movie kisses is clark gable and jean harlow in Red Dust! That whole movie is pretty steamy! Also, joan crawford and robert montgomery share a nice one in Untamed!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite kisses comes from To Have and Have Not (Howard Hawks, 1944). There is my favorite Bogart-Bacall movie (first picture together) and a beautiful scene of seduction. Bacall gave Bogie a quick kiss sitting on his legs then said "You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? You just put your lips together and... blow". Rhaa lovely.
ReplyDelete(there's also a duet between Hoagy Carmichael & Lauren Bacall on "How Little We Know")
Love it...but what about Summer Storm?
ReplyDeleteawopbob....etcetcetc:
ReplyDeleteOh my f***ing God, how could I have forgotten that movie kiss? Lauren Bacall is my favorite 1940's actress and that movie kiss is among the best. Seems like I have plenty of material for upcoming videos!
Ladybug:
Ooops, a film I haven't seen or heard of... Which actors are we talking about?
OOOHH I LOVE your Blog.
ReplyDeleteI liked very very much the unseen kiss on An Affair to remember. Cary GRant again...
"Summer Storm" is George Sanders and Linda Darnell.
ReplyDeleteThe kiss at the end of WALL-E is one of my favorites. And of course the kissing scene from CINEMA PARADISO. Also there's no kissing in this scene, but the way the girl from MY SASSY GIRL looks at her boyfriend while they're standing in the rain is really hot. There's lots of good kisses early on in THE UMBRELLAS OF CHERBOURG.
ReplyDeleteWoah... Turn off Caps Lock! If you want to be taken seriously, that is.
