Jeanne Moreau

French actress Jeanne Moreau, who feminist film theorist Molly Haskell described as "the glorious fantasy, appealing to both sexes, to men as eternal mistress, to women as Nietzschean Superwoman."
I just have to buy Haskell's new book Frankly, My Dear: "Gone With the Wind" Revisited.

  2. I could be your grandmother lol but I think you are BRILLIANT and JUST AWESOME and beautiful too, hardly seems fair! Have you ever compared The Bride Wore Black with the Kill Bill movies? I think Tarentino denies he saw The Bride first but I don't believe it. Both v. good but the Subtle Things are the most beautiful to me. Still, the Moreau version, you might miss the point, not bloody likely with the Kill Bill films.
