..I read "Groucho and Me" back in High School..and can't remember when I enjoyed a book more,so much history..The Vaudeville stories were the best..and with Groucho's wit, really puts you in that place and time..
Christopher: A truly awesome biography! Groucho has a tendency to drift away from the subject though, so if you want to read more about the Marx's life Harpo Talks! is the best ;)
If the world co-operated with my wishes I would neither have letter combinations nor comment moderation on my blog. However, I don't want Viagra or Russian mail order brides. Please write a name (fake or whatever), since anonymous comments tend to end up with the mentioned offerings - as spam.
Happy Birthday Mr. Karloff and "carismático" Marx.
ReplyDeleteGreat art of the Al Hirschfeld. I really like your site. Thank you Lolita!
ReplyDeleteToday is my little sister's birthday too! We knew that she shared a birthday with Harpo, but I didn't know it was Boris Karloff's birthday too!
