Women and mirrors - part 2

As Kate Gabrielle stated in a blog comment - it was obviously popular for classic actresses to be photographed in mirrors. And why not? An easy way to put a beautiful woman in an artistic photo.
In February I did a post called Women and mirrors, and since then I've collected a few more mirror pictures that would have fitted in there. Therefore - encore pour les femmes et les miroirs!

Greta Garbo (1905-1990)

Mabel Normand (1895-1930)

Anita Page (1910-2008)

Ann Sheridan (1915-1967)

Barbara Stanwyck (1907-1990)

Carole Lombard (1908-1942)

Veronica Lake (1919-1973)

Claudette Colbert (1903-1996)

Colleen Moore (1900-1988)

Joan Crawford (1905-1977)

Mae Clarke (1910-1992)

Marsha Hunt (1917-)

Norma Shearer (1902-1983)

  2. You have to hand it to Claudette - even in a mirror shot she doesn't show her right side.

  6. haha you said "few" ;) and Garbo is so fascinating to me. simple photo, but very beautiful somehow.

what about Claudette's right side?.. I never show my right side of face either, believe me. cause I don't like how it looks. a bit asymetrical although no one ever told me so. they say I imagine it. well it's my face, I know better! ;) it became into a habit. I just turn my head to the right a little bit when being photographed.
