I wonder what became of tossing around in the apartment with a cup of coffee, take a cigarette on the balcony, sleep too much and watch classic films the rest of the day?
On April 16th I wrote in this blog about a lovely little community called The Golden Age of Hollywood. I met some wonderful persons there, all with the same burning interest for classic moviestars. Lovely! (Almost as good as this "classic film bloggosphere"...)
Anyways; there I came in contact with a young woman from Alexandria who goes under the name of Redrose139. She told me about this site that she had, that she was afraid people had forgotten: Wallpapers4Stars. Of course I checked the site out, and it seemed to have great potential. I created a group called "Classic Filmstars Wallpapers" and got going with a test wallpaper of Myrna Loy. I was sure going to get this site going!
How happy was I not when Redrose sent me an email asking me to be an Admin on the page! And oh, it feels good. The ideas started to flow - How can I make this site so comfortable as possible? What do people want on their desktops? What can I do to give the feeling of an "alive" site?
Just a little excuse to why I have been a little absent. But I will be better, promise.
Wow! That's incredible. I love that wallpaper. I'll definitely have to use it on my desktop. It looks great. I hope you had a nice weekend.

Hello! I saw Myrna Loy in ''Libeled lady'' the other night. Wonderful actress.

ReplyDeleteShe sure was! She's without a doubt on my top ten list of my greatest movie icons.
